Oh My God, she used the "C" word

I haven't written in here for months and as I hit the login button i was convinced i had written the wrong password but much to my surprise it actually worked and i was logged in.

What's new with me cp wise then? well i'm guessing most people who read this will read my regular diary and already know this but i've been taking anti-depressants for the last two months, give or take.

I'm now the cutest little cripple you ever did see... or at least i'm working on that.

I've been "dieting" since Christmas (i refuse to call this a diet as this has to be a permanent change) and i've lost a stone and a half or there abouts. I've also had my hair chopped dead short. I like it but its not quite how i wanted it so now i'm umming and awwing about whether to let it grow longer so its more like i wanted or get it chopped again to get rid of the now split ends.

My physio blokey came again today and we had random conversations joking about "catching" cp and i really threw him off by using the word "cripple" poor guy didn't know what to say or anything after having been told repeatedly in various disability awareness courses as part of his training not to use that word as it is offensive.

Next week or the week after I have a lecture on disability discrimination as part of my equal opportunities module. i plan on contradicting all of the lecturers assumptions on disability (she does Rock lots but she is able-bodied) and using the Cripple word right after she discusses words not to use!
